 Happy New Year Wellness Circle Community! It's a new year and January is that time of setting goals and making resolutions. Let's take a look at another perspective when it comes to a new year. We have all heard the word “Transformation” - Webster dictionary defines the word as a process, or instance of experiencing change that typically is intrinsic. Meaning a change from the inside. This is why many new year resolutions do not work. The good intentions of wanting to change requires inner work. If one is not ready to put in the work, then one is not ready to experience change.

Here at the Wellness Project, we are all about helping our community take responsibility for their growth. This year make transformation the focus of your growth and begin to take all the necessary steps towards it. If the focus of your transformation is to develop a relationship with God, then there are some necessary steps to take. One is accepting God’s gift of salvation as the ultimate. Next is to begin a daily pursuit of knowing God in His Word and through prayer. Finally, look for a community of people to meet with on a regular basis to grow in your relationship with God.

No matter the industry or field you are, we have curated some community events to help jump start your transformational journey in this first quarter of 2024. Here they are:

1. Stride K12 Promising Practices - on Friday, March 1, 2024 is a virtual event for the busy educator meant to  inspire, develop, and empower teachers and leaders by sharing knowledge and expertise that has made a difference.  Come learn and grow with proven practices in education to benefit our next generation of leaders - students.
2. The Maxwell Leadership Day to Grow Conference - on Saturday, March 9, 2024 is an in-person one day event meant to transform your personal and professional growth. Come learn, engage and gain valuable knowledge that can transform your personal and professional growth. 
3. Wellness Conference - on Thursday, March 21, 2024  is a one day event that brings together social service leaders and refugee advocates from around the world. Come and learn about the strength of diversity, how to develop resilience and advocacy. Three tracks to choose from, mental health, medical and legal.
