Points of Leadership is all about equipping leaders in maximizing their leadership for the people they lead.

Leaders are responsible for their own growth- be it professional, spiritual, or relational. This responsibility cannot be delegated or assigned to someone else. As a leader, you have to take the initiative for your growth. Kudos to all the organizations that provide growth opportunities for their members. Yet, it is still left to the individual if they will take the opportunity provided by their organization. My grandmother had a saying, "You can take a mule to the brook for water, but you can't force that mule to drink if it doesn't want to."  So even when your organization or company has meticulously designed professional learning opportunities, you still have to take the personal responsibility to want to grow.  No one can want that personal responsibility for you.
