Points of Leadership is all about equipping leaders in maximizing their leadership for the people they lead.

In this episode, we begin our school leadership series. We will hear from different K-12 school leaders in the trenches of leading their teams in meeting the needs of their students. We launch this series looking at elementary grade levels. It's 2024, and high quality elementary education nationally and state-by-state is still unaffordable and inaccessible for far too many families across the United States (Center for American Progress).

A veteran educator who loves to light the learning fire of our youngest scholars, Mrs. Spears never thought she would be in education. However, when you are a child of God, life tends to be different because of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who confirmed twice that education is exactly what He was calling Spears to. The rest is history- today she leads elementary grades at one of Texas public schools.

Discussing with Dr. Feyi Obamehinti, Mrs. Spears shares some key leadership principles gathered through her extensive years in education with our youngest scholars for emerging leaders. These leadership principles are not just for education leaders but any leader in any industry that desires to take care of those they lead.
