Points of Leadership is all about equipping leaders in maximizing their leadership for the people they lead. There has been a robust body of research in the last decade about servant leadership pointing to it's positive impact on people in any sphere; be it in a family, church, organization, community or business. From enhanced people well-being, productivity and healthy culture, the effects of a servant leader is impactful. Servant leaders are knowledgeable, ethical people who bring value to organizations and the people they serve, through priority, valuing growth, empowerment and sensitivity to personal concerns (Meuser & Smallfield, 2023). Additionally, in a recent 2025 article by Shonk, a researcher at the Havard Business School, she states that servant leadership is a style in which leaders put the needs, aspirations, and interests of their followers above their own using the thought leadership by Greenleaf who reshaped management and leadership polices in the seventies.
